Project e- Educate

KANCHANA Foundation

How does it work?

The idea of online education was scoffed at not so many years ago. But these days both educational institutions and prospective students are taking online education seriously. With online education the student has far greater responsibility for their own learning. Knowledge is simply presented to students by online teachers and are expected to be responsible for completing assignments and reviewing the information. This kind of freedom and flexibility fits many students perfectly. If time is important to students, and they are motivated enough to be responsible for themself, online education could be a perfect fit.

We propose two methods in this direction:
  • Equip a school with an internet enabled computer with webcam and multimedia, teachers/ online volunteers, spread across the globe, login to our facilities and begin a class room session. This would eventually not only ease out never ending demand for teachers and but also provide a platform for the volunteers spread across the globe to participate in a meaningful social activity.
  • Bring in the recorded/ live class room session from a school with enough teachers and infrastructure at a remote school. Classes in this case are monitored by volunteers
Be a part: If you feel it is possible for you to assist the poor and marginalized, share your skills with eager students and exchange experiences. Your contribution will help develop an educational network, facilitating knowledge sharing and capacity building. By becoming an online teacher/ volunteer you would be providing immense knowledge to our needy students by dedicating some valuble time.

Current Status: This initiative is now at the pre-planning stage. The activity would be kicked off as soon as we have enough resources. If you are interested in this activity, we would appreciate your response.

Results: Would be updated soon.
